About Us

For over 15 years, Betsy Thomas has successfully represented numerous clients throughout Houston and surrounding areas in consumer bankruptcy law. Her passion is to help people resolve their financial troubles and regain stability. Because the sole focus of her practice is consumer bankruptcy, Betsy provides comprehensive bankruptcy services with individualized attention to her clients. She understands that bankruptcy can be a complex process and is there to guide them through that process every step of the way. Betsy is committed to providing quality representation with a genuine desire for her clients to have a fresh financial start.

She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the Federal Courts in the Southern District of Texas. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government at the University of Texas at Austin and later graduated with her Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law.

Betsy is happily married to her husband and best friend, and is a mother to four wonderful children. In her spare time, she likes to be outdoors, listen to audiobooks, and hang out with family and friends. She is an active member of Houston’s First Baptist Church and also a member of Community Bible Study Houston Memorial Class. She strives to base her work ethic on honoring God and serving others with excellence.
